Last week we spent part of our morning giving back to our community by volunteering our time at Harvesters. We helped fold grocery bags and flyers to send out for the upcoming Stamp Out Hunger food drive, the largest single-day food drive in the country and a nationwide effort to collect and distribute donated food throughout our local communities. Harvesters is participating by sending out 700,000 grocery bags for donations.
Opportunities like this serve as a reminder that when everyone contributes a little, it can make a big difference. You can help by filling your bags for the food drive on May 13 and by signing up to be a volunteer at Harvesters or your local foodbank.
