CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
KANSAS UNIVERSITY
SK Design Group has worked on multiple projects at the University of Kansas since 1995. Projects include reconstruction of Jayhawk Boulevard, Daisy Hill, Park & Ride, School of Business, Earth, Energy & Environment Center, and reconstruction of multiple roadways such as 15th Street, Engle Road, Constant Ave, Irving Hill, Crestline, and 19th Street. Most roadway projects require summer construction. For example Jayhawk Boulevard was phased over several summers and included over 3800 LF of roadway, sidewalks, replacement of utility and data lines, installation of new storm sewers, and water lines.
Maintaining the historic fabric of the area is paramount for the university and was deeply considered throughout the design process.
